Essex Air Source was started by Mark Cranmer. Originally a domestic electrician he came into the renewables sector in 2013 and started with domestic Solar PV installations.
In 2016 we stepped our focus into Air Source Heatpumps fitting various brands for a few companies the main focus was customers with existing heating systems joining the RHI scheme (renewable heat incentive) which was a scheme where properties would receive quarterly payments for 7 years to help with the financial cost of changing to a Heat pump.
From 2022 The heatpump part of the business has been contracting almost exclusively for CB Heating which are part of EDF Energy, we have got close to 200 heatpump installs completed and operational for CB Heating these are a mixture of retrofits where we have removed a working heating system. The rest are made up of customers doing large extensions/ new build renovation style works where we liaise with building and plumbing contractors to deliver a stress free heating system
2022 till present we have offered Solar and Battery systems for contract customers working with scaffolders and suppliers to install up to 10 systems a week
The future, our journey is to continue with our Business relationships with the great companies we work with whilst taking a step forward to bring these products with our engineers directly to you.
